BIO - Comédienne/Actress
On peut dire de Patricia Légaré que c'est une comédienne chekhovienne, c’est-à-dire passionnée par la technique de jeu de Michael Chekhov dans laquelle elle se perfectionne depuis maintenant plusieurs années. Elle recevra d’ailleurs sa certification de jeu et d’enseignement de cette technique en juin 2018 par le GLMCC (Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium) au Mount Union University en Ohio, USA. Elle donne à l’occasion des ateliers intensifs de jeu axés sur cette technique à des acteurs, metteur en scène, étudiants et toute personne ouverte et intéresser par la gestuelle psychologique.
Elle a aussi fondé en 2014 sa compagnie de production Les Évadés de la Lune avec laquelle est fait la tournée des garderies, des bibliothèques et même du CENTAUR Theatre avec le spectacle Mlle Égaré enchantée! - Enchanted Lady Lost! dans lequel elle incarne la fabuleuse Mlle Égaré, la princesse oubliée. Différents services d’animation théâtrale, du spectacle aux ateliers de jeu, sont offerts pour petits et grands par l’entremise de cette entreprise.
On a pu la voir dernièrement dans Troilus and Cressida de William Shakespeare, produit par le Théâtre Sans Argent. Patricia Légaré y incarnait l’indomptable guerrier Diomedes de même que la prophétesse Cassandra.
Patricia Légaré, by her passion for the Michael Chekhov acting technique, is a chekhovian actor. She has attended several workshops over the years and will be completing her Actor and Teacher certification of this technique in 2018 with the GLMCC (Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium) at the Mount Union University in Ohio, USA. Occasionally she coaches intensive weekend workshop for actors, directors, students and anyone interested in the psychological gesture approach.
In 2014, she created her production company the Moon Escapees Productions . She's been on tour with Enchanted Lady Lost! since 2015 in daycares, libraries and even the CENTAUR Theatre. She plays the fabulous forgotten princess, Lady Lost. With this company, she offers different kinds of theatrical experience for each and everyone; from plays to workshops.
Recently she was part of the cast of Troilus and Cressida by William Shakespeare, produced by Theatre Sans Argent and directed by Stuart Wright. Patricia Légaré played the untameable Grecian warrior Diomedes and the Trojan prophetess Cassandra.
